AMUGA visits France

From 27 to 31 January, CODATU had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from AMUGA (Greater Abidjan Urban Mobility Authority) to France.

The week was punctuated by rewarding meetings and technical exchanges with French public institutions, which quickly grasped the challenges and issues facing Abidjan.
Discussions focused on key issues such as governance and the regulatory framework, operations, intermodality and the creation of a transport network branding platform.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the teams at Île-de-France Mobilités, Société des Grands Projets, SYTRAL Mobilités and GART, who made this week of exchanges possible. A huge thank you also to the CODATU volunteers, Jean-Christophe Monnet, Jean-Claude Gaillot, Marie-Hélène Chapel et Raymond Deschamps, and to our Chairman François Durovray, for their invaluable expertise, which fed into the discussions throughout the week.

This visit is part of CODATU’s cooperation with AMUGA in Abidjan, financed by AFD‘s FEXTE fund and the French Treasury, with the support of MobiliseYourCity.
