International Club of the AOM

The International Club of AOM – Autorités Organisatrices de la Mobilité (Organising Authority for Mobility), is an informal network for dialogue between elected officials and technicians from the North and South. It brings together the members of the second college of CODATU: “Local authorities, groups or associations of local authorities and public transport organising authorities”.

This Club was initiated in 2021, in response to requests from developing cities to organise exchanges of experience between existing or planned Mobility Organising Authorities. Co-hosted by the Gart and CODATU, two to three thematic meetings are held annually, mainly by videoconference. Regular participants in this Club include: CTGO Ouagadougou, CETUD Dakar, Lomé, AMUGA Abidjan, Niamey, Sfax, Kairouan, IDFM, SYTRAL Lyon, Dijon, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Nancy, Arras, etc.

The exchanges made during the Club meetings contribute to the “alliance of cities” that CODATU promotes at the global level.
