AMUGA teams on a study visit to Casablanca

This week, an AMUGA delegation, accompanied by Codatu, is in Casablanca as part of a study visit organised in collaboration with Casa Transport.
The aim is to enable the Ivorian teams to benefit from Casablanca’s experience in monitoring the operation of public transport networks and contracting with operators – key challenges in supporting the development of the Greater Abidjan transport system.
During this first week, the participants visited several transport facilities and services in Casablanca, held discussions with Casa Transport‘s teams and learnt about the systems put in place for managing and monitoring the tram and BRT networks.

The mission will continue next week with a technical immersion within the Casa Transport teams to gain a deeper understanding of the methods and tools used on a daily basis to monitor operations.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the Casa Transport teams for their hospitality and the quality of our discussions.

This activity is organised as part of a technical cooperation programme (FEXTE), with the support of theAgence Française de Développement.
