#CIMDC2026: four days of international action for sustainable urban mobility!

From 19 to 22 October 2026, Abidjan hosted the International Conference on Sustainable Mobility and Climate (#CIMDC2026), bringing together nearly 1,400 participants from 40 countries.
Over four days, public decision-makers, city representatives, researchers, technical and financial partners, businesses and civil society organisations shared their experiences, compared their visions and discussed the major challenges facing sustainable urban mobility and climate action.
From the 19th Codatu Scientific Conference to the meetings and discussions at the CIMDC, this international mobilisation helped to strengthen dialogue between stakeholders and open up new avenues for cooperation.
A momentum that continues beyond Abidjan!
The adoption of the Abidjan Declaration and the signing of a cooperation agreement between Codatu and AUMA demonstrate this collective commitment to turning discussions into concrete actions for the future of sustainable urban mobility.
Co-organised by Codatu, AMUGA and Climate Chance, CIMDC 2026 was made possible thanks to the commitment and support of numerous partners.
A huge thank you to all the participants, speakers, partners and teams involved who contributed to the success of this event!
