Technical cooperation in Abidjan: Launch of the mission to support the development of AMUGA

As part of the technical cooperation provided by CODATU within AMUGA (FEXTE AFD/French Treasury), a mission to support the development of the institution has been launched to develop and strengthen its role in implementing sustainable mobility for Greater Abidjan. It is being led by the ESPELIA – SYSTRA – BPL.

The mission was launched in Abidjan during the week of 27 May, with the consultant team in attendance. More than 30 interviews were conducted with AMUGA teams and numerous external partners in order to feed into an institutional, organisational and functional assessment.

The next steps will consist of working with AMUGA to define a short- and medium-term vision for the institution, as well as the operational levers needed to achieve it: training and capacity-building plan, tools and processes.
