CODATU
participates to the Summit of the International Transport Forum, intergovernmental organization related to OECD which organizes the annual meeting of the Transport ministers from the 54 member countries, in Leipzig (Germany) from 27th to 29th of may.

This event will be the opportunity to officially introduce, during the ministerial plenary session, the different initiatives related to transport and being part of the Positive Agenda for COP21; including CODATU’s initiative “Sustainable Urban Mobility: what’s your plan?”, an initiative focused on promoting sustainable urban mobility planning as a tool to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in urban transport in developing cities.

During the summit, several working meetings with the different partners of the initiative are planned in order to make progress in the structuring of the initiative. It will be the opportunity to coordinate the methodological part and the search for funding. Thus, Leipzig summit is an important step towards the structuration of the initiative before its official launch during COP21 in December in Paris.
