The Gustave Eiffel University was created in 2020 on the basis of an innovative model bringing together for the first time in France the triptych of university/schools/research organisation and whose ambition is to transform life and cities.
We are the fruit of a common history initiated more than 20 years ago between a university (Upem), a research institute (Ifsttar), 3 engineering schools (ESIEE Paris, ENSG, EIVP) and an architecture school (École d’architecture de la ville & des territoires Paris-Est). By pooling our many strengths in education and research, we are able to create better synergies and thus offer our different audiences a richer range of skills.
The Gustave Eiffel University is the bearer of the scientific ambition of the I-SITE FUTURE: to prepare the transformation and sustainable adaptation of cities and territories.
