The École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, a leading French engineering school founded in 1747, trains the future managers and researchers who will have to meet the challenges of a sustainable society in the 21st century.
In addition to the civil engineering and land-use planning that have historically underpinned its prestige, the school is also developing excellence in training and research linked to the challenges of the ecological transition and social responsibility in a wider range of fields: urban planning and transport, mathematics, economics and finance, energy, mechanics and materials science, etc.
The school’s 15 teaching and research chairs are entirely devoted to this, combining scientific and technical objects, economic reality and social acceptability.
