District Autonome du Grand Lomé

Le District autonome du Grand Lomé est une collectivité territoriale du Togo.

Created last June within the framework of the decentralisation process, the District Autonome du Grand Lomé (Autonomous District of Greater Lomé) is a particular territorial authority, designed to carry out actions specific to the capital, some of whose development, maintenance and functionality go beyond the competences of the communes. It is the local authority representing the city of Lomé as a whole.

The District thus includes the prefectures of Agoè-Nyivé and the Gulf, and the 13 communes of these two prefectures. Its headquarters are located in the former Lomé City Hall.
