Paris, 14 January 2026 – Codatu Board of Directors

The Codatu Board of Directors met on 14 January 2026 at La Maison de la RATP in Paris. The meeting provided an opportunity to review several key issues for the association, in a context marked by a strong momentum of projects and partnerships.
The highlight of the meeting was the International Conference on Sustainable Mobility and Climate (CIMDC 2026), which will be held in Abidjan next October. The directors were briefed on the progress of the preparations, particularly following the mission carried out in December 2025 by a delegation from Codatu and Climate Chance. This mission helped to consolidate partnerships with, among others, Ivorian companies, French companies established in Côte d’Ivoire, the French Embassy and the District of Abidjan.
The Board of Directors approved the principle of a call for initiatives aimed at local stakeholders for the creation of businesses and projects promoting sustainable urban and peri-urban mobility. This approach will enrich the content and territorial anchoring of the conference.
The African Paratransit Fair was also discussed, highlighting the interest of Codatu members in the challenges of structuring and recognising this key sector of mobility in Africa.

Finally, a progress report on the Codatu 2030 Vision was presented. It highlights significant advances in the association’s development strategy, both in terms of diversifying financial resources and partnerships and expanding geographical areas of intervention. New project ideas and ongoing projects are concrete evidence of Codatu’s dynamic ambition for the coming years.
Codatu warmly thanks La Maison de la RATP for hosting the meeting, as well as all its members present, for the quality of the discussions and contributions during this Board meeting.
