9th Urban Mobility India (UMI) Conference – November 8th to 11th, 2016 [Ghandinagar, India]

conference to discuss Urban Mobility in India…

For the 9th consecutive year, the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) is holding an Annual Conference-cum-Exhibition on urban transport. This conference is one of the important outcome of the National Urban Transport Policy (NUTP) layed-down by the MoUD in 2006. The conference provides an opportunity to interact with other professionals, technology and service providers both domestic and international so that the delegates can carry home ideas to develop their urban transport along a sustainable path. The event brings under one roof technology and service providers in urban transport from India and abroad as well as policy makers, practitioners and officials.

The 9th edition of the event is now scheduled at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Gujarat during November 8 – 11, 2016. The theme of the conference is ‘Planning Mobility for City’s Sustainability’. The event will be organized by the Institute of Urban Transport (India) New Delhi on behalf of the Ministry of Urban Development, Govt. of India.
