A look back at our roundtable at MOBCO 2026!

This morning, Codatu brought together numerous mobility stakeholders for a roundtable discussion entitled: ‘Current challenges facing African urban mobility authorities and their joint reflections on finding sustainable solutions’.

Moderated by Jean-Jacques Helluin, Codatu’s General Delegate, the discussion brought together Romain Kouakou (AMUGA / AUMA), Reda Souirgi (AFD), Nicolas ZIV (CDRI) and Sergio Oliete Josa (European Commission – DG INTPA).

Our President, François DUROVRAY, sent a video message to the participants, emphasising the importance of strengthening transport authorities and international cooperation to support urban transitions.

The discussions were rich and stimulating, highlighting the many challenges facing African mobility organising authorities, as well as the solutions and partnerships being developed to address them.
