Codatu 2026 New Year’s Reception

The Codatu New Year’s Reception was held on Wednesday, 14 January 2026 at La Maison de la RATP in Paris. Chaired by François DUROVRAY and attended by members of the Codatu board and team, this event brought together the association’s members and partners for a time of discussion and sharing perspectives.

On this occasion, the President reviewed the highlights of 2025, a year marked by significant developments for Codatu and concrete progress in the implementation of the Codatu 2030 Vision. The development of new partnerships in Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar and the Dominican Republic, notably with Expertise France, illustrates this dynamic. The ambition to strengthen cooperation with major international institutions, such as the African Development Bank and the World Bank, is also a key focus for the future of the association.
The year 2025 was also marked by the 10th anniversary of MobiliseYourCity, an important milestone that highlights Codatu’s contribution to the deployment of sustainable urban mobility policies on an international scale.
The outlook for 2026 is equally ambitious. It will be driven in particular by the organisation of the International Conference on Sustainable Mobility and Climate (CIMDC 2026), scheduled to take place in Abidjan next October, as well as by the opening of new areas of intervention, particularly in Benin, Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The ceremony was also an opportunity to discuss developments within the teams. Codatu praised the work of outgoing project managers Héloïse Chaumier and Lucile Boudet, and welcomed Thomas Bafoil, project manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, and Johanne Collet, sustainable mobility expert at MobiliseYourCity.
In conclusion, the President paid tribute to the commitment of the entire Codatu team, both employees and volunteers, who contribute every day to the dynamism and influence of the association. Codatu warmly thanks La Maison de la RATP for its hospitality.
