Training Session « Introduction to urban transport planning for young transport professionals in the developing world »
A training session, conceived and facilitated by Ali HUZAYYIN (1st vice President of CODATU), took place on November 10 and 11, before CODATU XIII, with the logistical and financial support of the PADDI (forecast and urban studies centre located in Ho Chi Minh City) and of the Rhone Alpes Region.
It gathered 40 people of the different departments of the Popular Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
14 lectures were given by Ali HUZAYYIN with the goal of:
- Introducing some concepts of public transport management and planning by taking the use of space and sustainability into consideration.
- Drawing attention to the necessity of improving competence and knowledge thanks to continuous training.
A booklet in French and in Vietnamese will be produced by PADDI; it will summarize the different points handled, the questions tackled and make a short report of the session.
