Amman is the capital of Jordan, and 66% of Jordanians live there. Since 2007, Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has had the powers necessary to implement a sustainable-mobility policy. It has produced a transport master plan that identifies the challenges facing Amman, its objectives, and how to achieve them.
