Codatu XIII - November 12 - 14, 2008 - Hô Chi Minh city (Vietnam)

Institutional matters, just as much as the types of investments and technical considerations are key issues in urban transport.

In view of this context and after introducing the general problematic and clarifying the situation in Vietnam, the sessions of the conference will be organized about major themes, as:

- urban planning
- financing
- inter-modality
- clean urban mobility

CODATU XIII will outline new ways to approach urban mobility in order to face the challenges of sustainable development and competitiveness of cities, through the presentation of case studies and analyses, both theoretical and practical.

About thirty countries were represented and a lot of relations were established during this event.

A training session conceived and animated by Ali HUZAYYIN, 1st vice president of CODATU, for the young professionals working in urban transport, took place 2 days before the conference. It gathered about forty attendees, who enjoyed this training session.
